Mrs. Adams
Welcome! I am excited to be joining Carmel Elementary!
I grew up in Indianapolis and I graduated from
DePauw University – go Tigers!
I taught 5th grade in Hamilton Southeastern for one year before
moving to Kentucky, where I taught 2nd grade in Nicholasville, KY.
While living there, I earned my Master’s as a Reading/Writing Specialist from Eastern
Kentucky University. My husband and I then moved to Charleston, South Carolina.
I taught 2nd grade for 5 years in Mt. Pleasant, SC and earned my
National Board Certification in Literacy. We loved Charleston but decided we
needed to be near our families, so back to Indiana we went!
My family includes my husband, Zack, our 2 year old twins, Everett and Nora, and our dog, Minnie. We love to go to the Children’s Museum, read books, swim and play outside! We went to Disney World this summer and had lots of fun meeting Mickey and Minnie! Before we moved back to Indiana we loved to go to the beach!
